You may be wondering where we came up with the name, the Green Burro. We may have been inspired a little bit by our fine city and decided to tribute it. We also may have thought it was a little bit funny that the word "burrito" was derived from the word "burro". Some people don't know what a burro is, so we'll give you the obvious, it's a feral donkey.

And both animals can be called asses, but we decided not to call the actual place "The Green Ass", we thought it would be better to call the food "big ass", because that's what it is. We are the home of the almost famous big ass burritos, and folks liked them so much we decided to make the beers and the burgers "big ass" as well. So if you like your food big, come in and order it "big ass". Our burritos are handrolled authentic and original.

There's more. Not only do we offer great food, but we also have every sports enthusiast's dream setting. You get your work out first, climbing up our 42 stairs, so you can order guilt-free from the menu, and you are surrounded by 8 large plasma tvs that you can see from just about any chair in the restaurant. And it isn't just for the sports fans! We have American Idol fans, CSI fans, Lost fans, Oscars fans and other big television events that are great to watch at The Green Burro.

And if there's a commercial break, or you just can't take the televisions anymore, there's a perfect getaway. We have a nice selection of games like pool, foosball, Golden T, Cornhole and darts. We even have a tv set up for your little ones to play games on while you dine.
